McKenzie Method

McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) is an internationally acclaimed method developed in New Zealand for assessment and treatment of spinal and extremity pain. It is a safe and reliable way to reach an accurate diagnosis and only then make the appropriate treatment plan. Certified MDT clinicians are able to rapidly determine whether the method will be effective for each patient, for both acute and chronic pain.

Research show that roughly 75% of low back pain, 80% of neck pain and 90% of thoracic pain can get significant decrease in pain in a short period of time with the use of the McKenzie Method, whether it is a new pain, or a pain that has existed for years.

Scientifically Proven Effectiveness

The McKenzie Method have a tremendous amount of high quality evidence (including randomized control trials and systematic reviews) supporting its effectiveness. Scientists and researchers worldwide are consistently validating MDT’s positive effect on both physical and psycho-social aspects.

Research show that MDT is effective in:

  • Decrease Surgical Rates
  • Decrease Total Cost of Rehabilitation
  • Decrease Medication Use
  • Increase Function
  • Highly Recommended for Both Chronic and Acute Low Back Pain
