Reg. PhysiotherapisT

Elizabeth Langfried is a registered  physiotherapist with over 20 years of experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Lyceum Northwestern University in the Philippines in 1999 and pursued further education in Canada at Toronto Metropolitan University, formerly known as Ryerson University, in 2008. She served as an examiner for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination (PCE) in Canada during 2018.

Before moving to Ottawa in 2019, Elizabeth worked in private clinics and long-term care facilities in Toronto and also gained experience working abroad. Elizabeth focuses on maximizing her patients’ function and overall well-being through a range of treatments, including education, exercise therapy, manual therapy, alternative medicine, electrotherapy, taping, orthotics, bracing, body mechanics, and ergonomics. She strongly emphasizes the importance of injury prevention, as it is better to stop a problem from occurring than to treat it after pain settles in. She recognizes the value of continued education and pursues training in rehabilitation to further strengthen her clinical skills.
